Product Introduction

The pass box interlock controller is the central logic module for a two-door cleanroom transfer chamber. It reads door-position and request signals, energizes the appropriate electric lock, prevents both doors from being released together and provides local operating status. A compact flame-retardant enclosure, removable screw terminals and plug connectors simplify replacement inside an equipment compartment. Electrical supply, input type, lock voltage, output loading, timing logic and connector pinout must be matched to the existing pass box before installation.

Key Features

Dedicated logic prevents simultaneous release of opposing pass box doors.

A numeric display and separate status LEDs support rapid operating checks.

Removable terminal blocks allow field wiring to remain organized during module replacement.

Membrane keys provide local access to timing and operating adjustments without an external programmer.

Customer Product Concerns

A replacement controller must reproduce the existing door sequence and electrical interfaces without defeating the transfer chamber interlock.

Incorrect interlock logic can permit both doors to unlock at the same time.Two-door sequencing is configured so one release output remains inhibited while the opposite door is open or unlocked.
An incompatible lock output may overload the controller or fail to release the door.Supply voltage, output type and allowable load are matched to the installed electromagnetic or electric-bolt locks.
Unclear fault status makes a failed sensor difficult to distinguish from a lock problem.Display and indicator states provide direct feedback for door requests, interlock state and connected input conditions.
Rewiring a replacement module increases downtime and connection errors.Detachable terminal blocks and keyed plug interfaces support labeled, one-for-one service replacement.
