Overhead Ionizing Blower

The Overhead Ionizing Blower is a suspended three-fan static-neutralization system designed to provide broad, balanced ion coverage and task lighting over ESD-controlled workstations.
  • Three evenly spaced fans distribute balanced ionized air across a complete workstation.
  • Two integrated task lights illuminate assembly and inspection areas without separate bench fixtures.
  • Suspended installation keeps the worksurface clear while adjustable airflow serves different process distances.

Product Introduction

This overhead unit arranges three guarded axial fans in a long powder-coated enclosure to distribute ionized air across a wide bench. Three lower outlets direct airflow toward the worksurface, while two recessed LED task lights support visual assembly and inspection. A front airflow control and operating lamp provide simple local adjustment and status feedback. Two top suspension points support chain mounting, and removable front and rear guards allow access to the fans and emitter regions for planned cleaning.

Key Features

Three-fan architecture spreads ionized airflow across a wider area than a single benchtop unit.

Balanced positive and negative ion output neutralizes charge on isolated parts and packaging materials.

Variable airflow accommodates different suspension heights, part sizes and operator comfort levels.

Dual recessed task lights provide even illumination beneath the blower.

Two suspension points maintain stable alignment above the center of the workstation.

Removable safety guards support routine fan and emitter-point maintenance.

Operating-status indication gives the user a quick visual check before handling sensitive devices.

Customer Product Concerns

A wide bench can retain charged zones outside the airflow of a compact ionizer, while valuable worksurface space must remain available for tools and assemblies.

One small fan leaves weak ion coverage at the ends of a long bench.Three separated fan modules distribute ionized air across the full workstation width.
A benchtop ionizer competes with tools, fixtures and material containers.Chain suspension moves the blower above the process and keeps the surface clear.
High airflow can disturb small parts and films.Variable fan control allows the air volume to be matched to suspension height and material weight.
Overhead equipment can shade the operator's inspection area. Two integrated task lights illuminate the work zone directly beneath the enclosure.
Emitter contamination is difficult to identify and service in a closed housing.Removable guards and accessible emitter regions support scheduled inspection and cleaning.

Typical Applications

Electronics and PCB assembly workstations.Semiconductor back-end handling and inspection benches.Medical-device assembly and packaging.Flat-panel and optical-module production.Clean manufacturing benches requiring broad ion coverage.Static-sensitive repair, test and quality-control stations.
