Product Introduction

The cold-room air shower combines garment cleaning with a shell designed to control heat gain and condensation at a chilled entrance. Closed-cell insulated panels and thermally separated door frames limit cold bridging, while stainless interior surfaces and sloped return areas accommodate moisture from temperature transitions. The filtered air circuit can be configured for demand operation to limit unnecessary fan runtime between entries.

Key Features

Thick closed-cell insulation reduces temperature transfer through the enclosure walls.

Thermal-break door framing helps reduce cold bridging at frequently used openings.

Low-temperature gaskets retain flexibility through repeated chilled cycles.

Sloped stainless return areas guide condensate away from removable prefilters.

Demand-based operation can reduce heat input from fan running time.

Customer Product Concerns

Temperature transitions introduce condensation, heat leakage and stiff door seals that are not addressed by a standard dry-room air shower.

Warm humid air condenses on cold internal metal.Closed-cell insulation and thermal breaks help stabilise exposed surface temperatures.
Ordinary gaskets harden during low-temperature cycling.Flexible low-temperature elastomer seals maintain compression around the door frame.
Condensate reaches the prefilter area.Sloped stainless return trays direct moisture away from the filter cassette.
Continuous blower running adds heat to the chilled room.Demand-based controls limit shower fan operation between personnel cycles.
