Product Introduction

The high-static-pressure fan filter unit uses a larger backward-curved EC impeller, deep inlet cone and reinforced plenum to generate more pressure than a standard ceiling module. Structural ribs resist panel movement at the higher operating pressure, and an accessible test port allows the fan operating condition or filter resistance to be checked without opening the clean side. This model is suited to ducted inlets, terminal housings with dense filter packs and rooms where the airflow setpoint must be maintained through a longer loading interval.

High-resistance systems lose airflow quickly unless the fan, casing and control range are designed for the full pressure path rather than only a clean filter.

A standard FFU falls below the target face velocity when connected to an upstream duct collar.The larger impeller and deep inlet provide the added pressure reserve needed for duct and fitting resistance.
Filter loading changes the delivered airflow long before the final filter reaches a useful service limit.Variable EC speed and pressure reserve allow airflow to be maintained across a broader resistance range.
