Product Introduction

The HEPA filter test port combines a machined stainless quick-coupling socket with a two-hole face flange, threaded bulkhead, hex locknut and rear hose barb. Installed through a terminal housing or test-panel wall, it creates a defined connection between room-side test equipment and the intended pressure or aerosol line. The separate knurled cap remains attached by a short chain, protecting the exposed socket between validation activities without becoming a loose service item.

Key Features

The recessed quick-coupling socket provides a repeatable room-side connection for compatible test tubing and instruments.

A broad circular flange with two countersunk holes stabilizes the fitting against the housing face.

The rear male thread and hex locknut clamp the bulkhead securely through a prepared panel opening.

A stepped hose barb supports a direct transition to a correctly sized flexible sampling or injection line.

The knurled protective cap stays captured by a stainless chain during testing and servicing.

Customer Product Concerns

HEPA validation connections must remain accessible for instruments while preserving a secure, cleanable interface between test cycles.

Reaching an upstream plenum directly can require grille removal or awkward access above the cleanroom ceiling. The bulkhead fitting places a dedicated quick connection at the accessible room-side face.
An exposed socket can collect residue or become an unintended leakage path between test cycles. The close-fitting knurled cap protects the interface and remains captured by its short tether chain.
A poorly matched flexible tube can slip from the fitting or restrict the test flow path. The stepped rear barb is selected to suit the test-line bore and provides multiple retention lands.
A single-point fitting may rotate or leak where it passes through a thin housing wall. The two-hole flange resists rotation while the threaded bulkhead and locknut maintain controlled panel compression.
