Gel-Seal ULPA Filter
- Continuous Fluid-Gel Seal
- Knife-Edge Housing Interface
- U15 Media Option
- Cleanroom Terminal Format
Product Introduction
The gel-seal ULPA filter combines a high-efficiency mini-pleat microglass pack with a continuous fluid-gel trough in the aluminium frame. When the terminal housing's knife edge enters the gel, the compliant material surrounds small surface variations and forms a reusable sealing path without high gasket compression. The media pack is separately bonded into the frame with polyurethane, and protective grids shield both filter faces. This arrangement is widely used in cleanroom ceilings and fan filter units where a consistent perimeter seal must be achieved during repeated filter changes.
Key Features
The perimeter seal requires less compression force than a conventional dry gasket on a large panel.
Separate media-pack potting isolates the filtration seal from the serviceable gel channel.
Rounded aluminium corners and uninterrupted gel continuity reduce vulnerable transitions at frame joints.
Customer Product Concerns
A very high-efficiency terminal filter can still fail its purpose if the large perimeter seal is uneven or difficult to reproduce after replacement.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
