Product Introduction

The damper actuator mounts directly on a round or square damper shaft and converts an electrical control command into controlled quarter-turn movement. A split universal clamp transfers torque to the shaft, while the separate anti-rotation bracket prevents the actuator body from turning with the drive. The visible angle scale supports setup checks, and the external manual-override control allows the coupling to be positioned when the selected model and operating instructions permit. Shaft geometry, required torque, rotation direction, supply voltage and signal type must all correspond with the installed damper and controller.

Key Features

A split metal shaft clamp provides a compact direct-coupled interface without an external crank linkage.

The separate slotted anti-rotation bracket restrains the housing while allowing practical mounting adjustment.

A clearly marked angle scale and external override control support setup and service checks at the actuator.

A gland-protected multi-core lead keeps power and control conductors together for orderly equipment wiring.

Customer Product Concerns

Dependable damper positioning requires the actuator torque, shaft interface and electrical control method to be selected as one compatible assembly.

An undersized actuator may stall before a large or tightly sealed damper reaches its commanded position.Required torque is assessed from damper area, seal friction, blade arrangement and the manufacturer's sizing allowance before the actuator is selected.
A replacement with the wrong control signal cannot follow the existing controller output.Supply voltage and on/off, floating or proportional input are matched to the installed control sequence and wiring.
An incompatible or poorly tightened clamp can slip on the shaft and lose blade position.Shaft shape, diameter, insertion length and clamp range are verified together, then secured with the specified fastening method.
Limited clearance or an incorrect restraint point can make the housing rotate or obstruct service access. The actuator orientation and anti-rotation bracket position are configured around the available AHU panel and shaft location.
