Compressed Air Moisture Analyzer
- Direct compressed-air water-vapour analysis.
- Regulated pressure and visible sample flow.
- Low-dead-volume conditioned sampling path.
Product Introduction
This analyzer routes a small representative compressed-air sample through a dedicated conditioning path before it reaches the moisture sensor. A pressure regulator, vertical flowmeter and transparent condensate-protection bowl help establish controlled inlet conditions and reveal an unsuitable wet sample before liquid reaches the measurement cell. Short stainless-steel and PTFE wetted paths reduce dead volume and ambient-moisture ingress, while the front display supports water-vapour trending in ppm(v) or dew-point units. Because line pressure affects the interpretation of dew point, the selected pressure basis, sample location and flow condition should be recorded with every result.
Key Features
Single front pressure regulator and vertical flowmeter make the conditioned side-stream settings easy to reproduce.
Transparent sample-treatment bowl provides a visible barrier against entrained liquid and particulate contamination.
Low-dead-volume stainless-steel and PTFE sample paths limit slow dry-down and moisture released from unsuitable tubing.
Separate compressed-air inlet and controlled outlet preserve a clear flow direction through the sensing cell.
Compact four-foot enclosure supports stable bench use while a recessed top handle allows protected field transport.
Customer Product Concerns
Trace-moisture results can be dominated by leaks, tubing diffusion, retained water, pressure changes and an unrepresentative sampling point, so the complete sample path must be treated as part of the measurement.

Technical Parameters
Representative construction for a compact compressed-air moisture analyzer is listed below; sensor technology, pressure reduction, measurement units and sample-line materials should be selected for the expected moisture level and reporting basis.
| Core Material | PC/ABS and powder-coated aluminum instrument enclosure with 316L stainless-steel wetted fittings, borosilicate flow tube, transparent polycarbonate conditioning bowl, PTFE sample tubing and a ceramic metal-oxide or capacitive moisture-sensor module |
|---|---|
| Panel Thickness | Typically 1.5-2.5 mm for the enclosure shell and internal instrument mounting panel |
| Effective Width | Approximately 300-360 mm across the bench-top control enclosure |
| Maximum Length | Approximately 360-430 mm for the complete enclosure, excluding the detachable sample tube |
| Steel Facing Thickness | Typically 0.8-1.2 mm for internal shielding, sensor brackets and sample-conditioning retainers |
| Core Density | Approximately 1100-1200 kg/m³ for the PC/ABS enclosure components |
| Thermal Conductivity | Approximately 0.19-0.22 W/(m·K) for the PC/ABS enclosure components |
| Surface Finish | Warm light-gray fine-texture enclosure, cobalt-blue display bezel and handle, dark-gray controls, clear conditioning components and satin stainless-steel sample fittings |
| Joint Type | Two directional compression-sealed compressed-air connections with a panel regulator, needle-controlled variable-area flowmeter, removable conditioning bowl and low-diffusion PTFE sample tube |
| Customization | Available based on the intended application and operating environment. |
