Product Introduction

This cold aerosol generator uses regulated compressed air and immersed Laskin nozzles to entrain test liquid and create a repeatable submicron aerosol without a heating cycle. Selectable nozzle operation lets technicians match aerosol output to smaller cabinets or larger air-handling systems. A sealed liquid reservoir, pressure indication and serviceable stainless outlet path make the instrument practical for cleanroom qualification and routine HEPA or ULPA leak testing.

Key Features

Cold atomization avoids thermal decomposition of compatible aerosol liquids.

Selectable Laskin nozzles provide stepped output for different system airflows.

Regulated pressure indication helps reproduce operating conditions between tests.

Internal baffles reduce the carryover of oversized liquid droplets.

Sealed reservoir and drain connection simplify filling, recovery and transport.

Portable corrosion-resistant enclosure supports field certification work.

Customer Product Concerns

Reliable cold aerosol testing depends on controlled air pressure, appropriate droplet separation and enough output flexibility for different filter-system airflows.

A fixed aerosol output may be excessive for a small cabinet and insufficient for a large plenum.Independently selectable nozzles provide practical output steps that can be matched to system airflow.
Changing compressed-air pressure can make challenge concentration difficult to reproduce.A regulator and clearly visible pressure gauge establish a repeatable nozzle operating point.
Large liquid droplets can contaminate ductwork or destabilize the photometer reading.Immersed nozzles and an internal impingement baffle retain coarse droplets in the reservoir.
Residual test liquid may leak during movement between validation locations.A sealed fill cap, level guidance and drainable reservoir support controlled filling and transport.
