Cold Aerosol Generator
- Repeatable cold aerosol without a heating cycle.
- Selectable Laskin nozzles for adaptable challenge output.
- Portable stainless construction for field validation.
Product Introduction
This cold aerosol generator uses regulated compressed air and immersed Laskin nozzles to entrain test liquid and create a repeatable submicron aerosol without a heating cycle. Selectable nozzle operation lets technicians match aerosol output to smaller cabinets or larger air-handling systems. A sealed liquid reservoir, pressure indication and serviceable stainless outlet path make the instrument practical for cleanroom qualification and routine HEPA or ULPA leak testing.
Key Features
Selectable Laskin nozzles provide stepped output for different system airflows.
Regulated pressure indication helps reproduce operating conditions between tests.
Internal baffles reduce the carryover of oversized liquid droplets.
Sealed reservoir and drain connection simplify filling, recovery and transport.
Portable corrosion-resistant enclosure supports field certification work.
Customer Product Concerns
Reliable cold aerosol testing depends on controlled air pressure, appropriate droplet separation and enough output flexibility for different filter-system airflows.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
The following values describe common portable Laskin-nozzle construction; nozzle quantity, dimensions and air requirements can be configured for the intended test range.
