Product Introduction

This cleanroom protective film is supplied as one wide roll of translucent blue polyethylene carrier coated with a removable pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is intended for temporary lamination onto clean, dry stainless steel, aluminium, glass or coated panel faces before fabrication, transport and fit-out work. The visible blue tint makes protected areas easy to identify without printed branding, while the broad roll format suits doors, wall panels, ceiling components and equipment skins. Adhesive strength can be selected for smooth, brushed or lightly textured substrates so the film stays in place during handling yet can be peeled away after installation.

Key Features

A broad flexible polyethylene carrier follows sheet-metal forming and panel handling without behaving like narrow packaging tape.

The removable pressure-sensitive adhesive provides temporary surface contact and is selected to limit residue on the specified finish.

Translucent blue coloration distinguishes covered areas while still allowing the underlying surface outline to remain visible.

Straight, clean roll edges support uniform machine or hand lamination across wide cleanroom components.

Moisture-resistant PE backing keeps dust, fingerprints and light abrasion away from the finished face during ordinary indoor logistics.

Customer Product Concerns

Finished cleanroom components can collect scratches, grinding dust, fingerprints and installation marks after their final surface treatment but before room handover.

Brushed or polished stainless steel can be marked by tools, pallets and adjacent parts during fabrication and transport. The continuous PE carrier creates a sacrificial surface that absorbs light handling abrasion before the film is removed.
An adhesive that is too weak can lift at edges, while an aggressive grade can leave residue on a finished panel.Adhesive level is matched to the substrate texture and expected dwell time rather than using one universal tack.
Clear unprinted film may be difficult for installers to see, causing protected and exposed areas to be confused. The translucent blue tint makes the coverage boundary visible without introducing product labels or decorative printing.
Narrow tape requires many overlapping strips and can leave exposed gaps on large doors or wall panels.Wide roll formats cover broad components in fewer passes and maintain one continuous protective sheet.
