Clean Steam Distribution System
- Sloped self-draining steam header
- Top-fed point-of-use branches
- Hygienic condensate removal
Product Introduction
The Clean Steam Distribution System begins at the clean-steam source outlet and delivers steam to separated hygienic users without adding another generation stage. Its 316L main header is arranged with a continuous fall toward a drain pocket, while branch take-offs rise from the top of the main before descending to point-of-use valves. A clean-steam trap removes collected condensate at the terminal low point, and local pressure instruments provide operating visibility. Prefabricated supported sections reduce field joints while retaining the drainage, support and thermal-movement allowances required by the final route.
Key Features
Continuous header fall toward drainage
Three top-entry point-of-use take-offs
Drainable hygienic valve orientation
Orbital-welded primary tube joints
Terminal drain pocket and clean-steam trap
Local pressure indication and transmission
Prefabricated rack with defined pipe supports
Customer Product Concerns
A downstream clean-steam network must deliver dry, usable steam while continuously removing condensate and avoiding stagnant pockets across several intermittent users.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
Header diameter, branch size, steam pressure, drainage spacing, insulation, trap duty, support pitch and modular section length are selected from the connected load schedule and installed routing.
