Product Introduction

This containment pass box controls material movement between a biological work area and an adjacent support space. The welded chamber operates with a selected pressure bias, while exhaust passes through a high-efficiency final filter housed in a service enclosure. Sealed penetrations, pressure indication and one-door-at-a-time logic support a defined containment boundary.

Key Features

A negative pressure bias directs small leakage towards the exhaust path.

A safe-change housing isolates the used final filter during service.

Differential-pressure indication makes chamber status visible.

Capped ports support compatible chamber treatment connections.

Coved internal welds simplify chemical wipe-down.

Customer Product Concerns

Biosafety transfer must maintain leakage direction, protect maintenance personnel and preserve the barrier at every door movement.

Aged gaskets allow air to escape to the adjacent room.A controlled negative bias draws leakage inward to the filtered exhaust route.
Service staff are exposed while replacing a loaded filter.A safe-change enclosure contains the filter during removal and replacement.
Operators cannot see whether the pressure bias is established.A differential-pressure display and door permissive show the chamber state.
Cable penetrations bypass the sealed enclosure.Welded sleeves and capped pressure-tight ports retain the chamber boundary.
