Product Introduction

The airlock interlock control system supervises door contacts, electric locks, request buttons and status lamps for a controlled transition space. When one door opens or unlocks, the controller inhibits the incompatible doors until the first door is closed and the defined delay expires. Separate emergency and fire inputs apply the selected safe release behavior without obscuring event status. Remote contacts or network communication allow facility operators to see door position, lock state, forced-open alarms and override activity.

Key Features

Configurable logic supports two-door airlocks and more complex three- or four-door sequences.

Distinct request, locked, available and alarm indications reduce occupant uncertainty.

Adjustable release delay lets room pressure recover before the next door can be used.

Dedicated emergency and fire inputs apply a documented fail-safe or fail-secure behavior.

Customer Product Concerns

An airlock must control door sequence without trapping occupants or creating ambiguous behavior during alarms and power loss.

Users repeatedly pull a locked door because its status is unclear.Color indicators and request acknowledgement show when each door is available or inhibited.
The next door releases before the pressure cascade has recovered. An adjustable closed-door delay holds the sequence until the airlock stabilizes.
A misaligned door contact leaves the airlock permanently blocked.Separate door-position and lock-status diagnostics identify the input preventing release.
Emergency release behavior is improvised at installation.Dedicated monitored inputs and selected fail mode define how each lock responds to emergency or fire conditions.
