The hazardous-area pass box is a stainless material-transfer enclosure specified around the actual substances, cleaning method, pressure scheme and electrical installation requirements of the process. It uses gasketed doors, conductive bonding points and smooth internal surfaces to support a controlled transfer route. The product name alone does not establish the electrical or protective configuration required at a given facility; that configuration is set from the actual operating environment.
