Tachometer
- Non-contact optical RPM measurement.
- Visible beam and reflective targeting.
- Min, max, average and last-value recall.
Product Introduction
This portable optical tachometer measures rotational speed without touching the moving shaft. A visible red emitter illuminates one reflective marker on the rotating part, while the adjacent receiver counts the returning light pulses and converts their repetition rate to revolutions per minute. A five-digit display, measurement hold and minimum, maximum, average and last-value recall support repeatable checks on cleanroom fans, air-handling equipment, pumps and production machinery. The recessed sensor window protects the optical elements, and a wrist lanyard helps secure the instrument during one-handed use.
Key Features
Visible red aiming beam helps align the sensor window with a single reflective target.
Five-digit backlit LCD presents RPM and stored results without crowding the reading area.
Hold plus minimum, maximum, average and last-value recall captures changing machine speed.
Selectable RPM and reflection-count modes support speed checks and basic event counting.
Recessed dual-element optical window and textured TPE grips suit one-handed field measurements.
Customer Product Concerns
Reliable optical RPM readings depend on one reflective event per revolution, a clear line of sight, suitable target contrast and stable aim, so target preparation is as important as the instrument setting.
