Steam Separator
- Removable hygienic baffle
- Direct low-point condensate drain
- Sanitary clamp or weld interfaces
Product Introduction
The Steam Separator is an inline moisture-removal vessel for clean and pure steam services where carried-over droplets can reduce heat-transfer consistency, disturb control components or reach a hygienic point of use. Steam enters through the horizontal inlet and changes direction across a removable internal baffle, allowing the heavier liquid phase to collect in the lower chamber while drier steam exits through the opposing outlet. The fabricated 316L body provides a dedicated top vent and a straight bottom drain connection, and the removable cover permits internal inspection and cleaning without treating the separator as a steam trap or filtration element.
Key Features
Low-pressure-drop baffle separation principle
Removable top cover for internal inspection
Direct vertical low-point condensate outlet
Separate top connection for air venting
Hygienic clamp or extended weld-end connections
Electropolished internal finish available
Compact inline geometry for horizontal steam mains
Customer Product Concerns
Moisture carried in a clean-steam line must be separated continuously without introducing hard-to-clean internals, stagnant drain geometry or avoidable pressure loss.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
Steam connection size, shell dimensions, design pressure, surface finish, elastomer, vent arrangement and condensate-trap duty are selected for the actual clean-steam load and piping standard.
