Product Introduction

Stainless Steel Rock Wool Cleanroom Panels combine durable stainless facings with high-density mineral insulation and closed modular edges. AISI 304 suits many hygienic interiors, while 316L offers greater resistance where chloride-bearing cleaners or process residues are present. Brushed, 2B or BA finishes provide smooth non-porous surfaces that withstand repeated wiping. The enclosed rock wool center contributes rigidity and acoustic comfort without exposing fibres. Flush joints and compatible sealants create a robust wall or ceiling system for high-contact, high-cleaning environments.

Key Features

AISI 304 and 316L facings resist repeated cleaning better than ordinary painted steel.

Non-porous stainless surfaces reveal residue and support visual hygiene inspection.

Rock wool adds mineral insulation and acoustic damping behind the durable outer skin.

Protected edges prevent cleaning fluids from contacting the fibrous core.

Flush modular joints reduce exposed ledges in frequently disinfected areas.

Customer Product Concerns

Customers must select the correct stainless grade, finish direction, joint sealant and cleaning method for the actual exposure.

Aggressive chloride cleaners can stain or pit an unsuitable stainless grade.316L facings are used where chloride exposure exceeds the practical range of 304.
Rough finishing traps residue and makes wipe marks highly visible.Consistent 2B, BA or directional brushed finishes create predictable cleanable surfaces.
Dissimilar trims can introduce galvanic corrosion at wet interfaces.Compatible stainless or isolated aluminum accessories prevent direct dissimilar-metal contact.
Cleaner can enter a damaged panel edge and reach the mineral core.Continuous welded, folded or framed closures protect all perimeter interfaces.
