Negative-Pressure HEPA Filtration Unit
- Containment Exhaust Flow
- Upstream Prefilter Protection
- Variable Negative Air Volume
- Sealed Exhaust Collar
Product Introduction
The negative-pressure HEPA filtration unit places the prefilter and HEPA cassette upstream of a variable-speed centrifugal blower. Contaminated room air enters the guarded intake, is filtered under negative pressure and then exits through a round exhaust collar for connection outside the contained space or to an approved return path. A differential gauge indicates filter resistance, and gasketed access panels maintain the dirty-side pressure boundary. When operated without an exhaust duct, the same unit functions as a recirculating air scrubber but does not create room negative pressure.
Key Features
A sealed round outlet accepts flexible ducting for controlled exhaust from the contained room.
Variable blower speed supports pressure adjustment as room leakage and filter resistance change.
Separate coarse and intermediate filters protect the HEPA stage during high-dust work.
Customer Product Concerns
Containment requires more than HEPA recirculation: the filtered airflow must leave the room through a controlled path at a rate greater than incoming leakage.
