Product Introduction

High-temperature double-wall exhaust duct contains hot dry process gases within a welded stainless inner liner while mineral-fiber insulation reduces heat transfer to the external casing. Straight cylindrical modules connect with precision male-female ends, high-temperature seals where appropriate and external locking bands. The inner column can expand relative to the outer shell, limiting thermal stress through long routes. The system is suited to ovens, sterilizers, generators and selected industrial exhaust sources where conventional HVAC sheet duct and insulation are inadequate.

Key Features

A 316L stainless inner liner provides a continuous high-temperature gas path with good corrosion resistance.

Mineral-fiber insulation lowers outer-wall temperature and limits heat loss from the conveyed exhaust.

Modular locking-band joints allow sections, bends and access components to be assembled without broad field welds.

Independent inner-wall movement accommodates thermal expansion along extended exhaust routes.

Customer Product Concerns

A hot exhaust route must contain temperature and pressure while allowing thermal growth and keeping adjacent surfaces within a manageable heat exposure.

Single-wall duct radiates excessive heat into the mechanical space.A mineral-fiber layer separates the hot inner liner from the stainless outer casing.
Rigid joints crack when a long duct line expands during heat-up.The modular inner column is detailed to expand without forcing the outer support shell.
Ordinary elastomer gaskets degrade at process exhaust temperature.Metallic or selected high-temperature joint seals match the actual dry-service temperature.
Thin carbon-steel duct oxidizes rapidly in hot humid exhaust.A welded 316L inner gas path resists heat and a broader range of condensate exposures.
