Product Introduction

The filter differential pressure sensor receives one pressure line from each side of a HEPA filter, prefilter or air-handling coil. Its low-pressure element converts the difference into a continuous signal that rises as resistance builds at a given airflow. Monitoring systems can trend the value and generate a maintenance alarm before the filter causes excessive fan demand or airflow loss. Clearly separated high and low ports, colored tubing and serviceable zero adjustment reduce common installation errors.
