Product Introduction

The FFU motor is the direct-drive power component fitted between the fan impeller and the electrical control system of a fan filter unit. Typical replacements use a compact external-rotor or electronically commutated construction to fit the shallow FFU plenum while supporting variable-speed airflow control. The shaft, flange, electrical connector and control input must be selected to match the original fan assembly. Balanced rotating parts and secure bearing support help limit vibration transmitted to the ceiling grid and final filter.
