Duct Airflow Measuring Station
- Multi-Point Velocity Traverse
- Low-Airflow Measurement
- Remote Digital Transmitter
- Supply or Exhaust Monitoring
Product Introduction
The duct airflow measuring station uses several bead-in-glass thermal sensors distributed across the duct cross-section to capture a representative velocity traverse. Each node compares a heated element with a reference temperature element, and the remote transmitter combines the readings with the entered duct area to calculate volumetric or mass airflow. Stainless-steel probes, plenum-rated cables and an external display enclosure suit permanent installation where operators need more than a one-time balancing reading. Analog and network outputs can feed room-pressure control, air-change verification or maintenance trending.
Key Features
Thermal-dispersion measurement operates at the low duct velocities common in ventilation and pressure-tracking branches.
A remote transmitter displays airflow and temperature while isolating electronics from the active duct section.
Selectable analog and serial communications support connection to airflow alarms or a building control system.
Customer Product Concerns
Reliable airflow control depends on a measurement point that represents the whole duct profile and remains stable at low velocity.
