Product Introduction

The downflow booth is the base platform for weighing, dispensing, sampling and other manual powder operations. Filtered supply air descends from a full ceiling plenum, entrains released particles and moves them to rear low-level returns. Recirculating layouts suit many dry powder tasks, while once-through arrangements can be selected where vapor or solvent considerations require exhausted air. The work area, airflow rate and filter-change method are configured from the process risk assessment.

Key Features

A full-width ceiling diffuser creates a low-turbulence working zone.

Low return grilles remove powder below the operator's breathing area.

Open-front access accommodates drums, benches and mobile process equipment.

Recirculating and once-through air paths support different process media.

Modular filter stages permit standard or contained maintenance arrangements.

Customer Product Concerns

A versatile booth must maintain controlled airflow across different equipment layouts without being presented as one universal containment grade.

Powder tasks change between drums, benches and mobile equipment. The open work zone accepts interchangeable process furniture and handling aids.
Recirculating air is unsuitable for some vapor-producing operations.A once-through exhaust configuration can be selected for the applicable process.
Equipment blocks the rear capture path.Pallet stops and layout markings preserve clearance in front of the low returns.
A fixed containment claim does not match every powder.Airflow, filters and change method are configured to the actual material and handling task.
