Product Introduction

This cleanroom magnetic lock is a single-door surface assembly for personnel entrances, airlocks and controlled process-room access points. Its black anodized aluminum body houses a laminated steel magnetic circuit and copper winding behind two parallel pole strips. A separate zinc-plated armature seats against that face when the door closes, while the slotted L bracket adapts the long lock body to a narrow header. The integrated status LED and terminal block support supervised access-control wiring without adding a separate visible reader or mechanical latch to the lock set.

Key Features

Two parallel pole strips distribute magnetic attraction across the matched armature instead of concentrating load at a latch point.

A built-in bond-status circuit and red/green indicator provide a local visual cue for aligned magnetic contact.

The recessed six-position terminal block accommodates power and monitoring conductors behind a removable end cover.

The black anodized long-form housing and matching slotted L bracket suit slim cleanroom door headers while preserving service access.

Customer Product Concerns

Consistent electromagnetic holding depends on full pole-face contact, compatible low-voltage power and a mounting arrangement that does not preload or twist the armature.

A narrow cleanroom header may not provide enough flat face area for a conventional full-width surface magnet. The elongated narrow-stile body and slotted L bracket extend the mounting plane while keeping the magnetic face parallel to the door leaf.
An armature fixed too rigidly can touch only one pole edge when the door or gasket settles. The matched central armature fastener permits the limited seating movement needed for complete face contact without loose lateral travel.
A door can appear closed even though imperfect alignment prevents the magnet from developing a stable bond. The monitored magnetic circuit and local red/green LED provide a separate indication of bond condition for the access controller and service technician.
Incorrect voltage or shared wiring can cause weak holding, delayed release or unreliable monitoring signals.Power, common and status conductors are terminated separately on the recessed block and matched to the controller output before commissioning.
