Its black anodized aluminum body houses a laminated steel magnetic circuit and copper winding behind two parallel pole strips. A separate zinc-plated armature seats against that face when the door closes, while the slotted L bracket adapts the long lock body to a narrow header. The integrated status LED and terminal block support supervised access-control wiring without adding a separate visible reader or mechanical latch to the lock set.
