Product Introduction

The Clean Steam Generator keeps the plant-steam circuit physically separate from the secondary water and clean-steam space. Primary steam condenses inside a removable U-tube bundle, transferring heat into RO, demineralized or otherwise suitably treated feed water held in the horizontal generator vessel. A level transmitter regulates make-up water while clean-steam pressure modulates primary heat input, allowing the packaged unit to follow process demand without introducing boiler-water treatment chemicals into the secondary steam path.

Key Features

Indirect unfired steam generation

Horizontal 316L secondary vessel

Removable U-tube heating bundle

Modulating primary-steam control

Continuous secondary-water level sensing

Dedicated clean-steam safety valve

Automatic blowdown interface

Touchscreen alarms and remote signals

Customer Product Concerns

A clean-steam package must isolate boiler additives, control secondary-water inventory and remain serviceable while responding to changing sterilizer or direct-contact process demand.

Plant-steam treatment chemicals cannot enter a direct-contact processUse a closed primary U-tube bundle so only heat crosses into the separately supplied secondary water.
Intermittent sterilizer loads cause clean-steam pressure swingsModulate the primary-steam control valve from secondary pressure while retaining useful steam volume in the horizontal vessel.
Poor secondary-water control promotes carryover or low-level tripsRegulate make-up flow continuously from the vessel level transmitter and configure high- and low-level alarms.
Scale or fouling increases bundle inspection downtimeMatch feed-water quality and blowdown practice to duty, then withdraw the bolted U-tube bundle through the service end.
