Chemical Safety Cabinet
- Double-wall welded steel body
- 38 mm insulating air cavity
- 51 mm leak-retaining sump
- Three-point latching twin doors
Product Introduction
The chemical safety cabinet uses two welded galvanized-steel skins separated by a 38 mm closed air space. Two adjustable galvanized shelves include raised edges and a slight rearward slope to direct incidental liquid toward the 51 mm lower sump instead of the door threshold. Twin doors engage a three-point latch at the top, bottom and center, while recessed paddle handles remain clear of the aisle. Two capped ventilation ports with internal flame-arresting mesh, a grounding stud and four adjustable feet are integrated into the cabinet body. The bright-yellow epoxy-polyester finish provides immediate visual identification and protects both internal and external steel surfaces.
Key Features
Adjustable raised-edge shelves guide small spills toward the back rather than allowing liquid to run toward the doors.
A 51 mm liquid-tight lower sump retains leakage below the lowest storage level and leaves the door sill visibly raised.
Three-point door latching, capped vents, an external grounding stud and leveling feet are built into one freestanding enclosure.
Customer Product Concerns
Compatible liquid containers need visible segregation, controlled spill retention and doors that remain securely latched during routine storage.
