Product Introduction

The swirl ceiling air diffuser turns supply air through a ring of tangential blade openings, producing a rotating horizontal jet beneath the ceiling. The swirl rapidly entrains room air, reducing temperature difference and velocity before the mixed stream reaches working height. Its square steel face fits a standard 600 mm ceiling grid, while the center panel releases for cleaning and access to the balancing plenum. Fixed blade geometry preserves the selected pattern after repeated maintenance and avoids accidental nozzle movement.

Key Features

Tangentially oriented outlets create rotational momentum and a high air-induction ratio.

The 595 × 595 mm face integrates directly with common modular cleanroom ceiling grids.

Fixed formed blades retain their discharge geometry without field readjustment after cleaning.

A gasketed balancing plenum can combine airflow measurement, volume adjustment and sound attenuation.

Customer Product Concerns

A swirl diffuser must preserve rapid mixing at reduced airflow while avoiding noise, pattern distortion and maintenance-related blade changes.

Cool supply air falls into the occupied zone before it mixes with room air.Tangential jets create strong induction and hold the mixed stream near the ceiling during its initial spread.
Adjustable blades are returned to inconsistent positions after cleaning.A fixed swirl element reproduces the designed discharge pattern whenever the face is reinstalled.
An undersized inlet produces audible turbulence behind the face panel.Selectable 160–315 mm spigots and an equalizing plenum reduce velocity before the swirl element.
The central fastener becomes a dirt trap on the visible face.A flush covered fixing and smooth powder coating leave a simple wipe-clean room surface.
