Product Introduction

The Sterile Packaging Bag combines a breathable porous HDPE web with a transparent multilayer film so the enclosed device remains visible. Three perimeter sides are factory sealed, while the fourth is left open for a validated packaging process. The tough white web supports sterilant access and low-particle peeling, and the clear film provides puncture-resistant handling protection.

Key Features

Porous HDPE web supports sterilant transmission and microbial barrier performance

Clear laminate permits visual inspection without opening

Three uniform factory seals define a consistent peel path

Open fourth end accommodates device loading and validated heat sealing

Chevron peel end guides controlled presentation

Customer Product Concerns

Sterile-barrier packaging must balance sterilant access, seal integrity, puncture resistance and clean opening. Material compatibility and the final user seal are critical to maintaining the validated package system.

Incomplete final seals can create channels across the pouch boundary.Validate sealer temperature, pressure and dwell for the exact pouch construction.
Sharp devices may puncture the clear film or porous web.Use tip protection and select film gauge for the device profile.
Excessive peel force may cause abrupt opening or web tear.Specify a controlled peelable seal and open from the defined chevron end.
An incorrect pouch size can strain seals or allow excessive movement.Allow suitable clearance around the device without folding the seal area.

Typical Applications

For terminal packaging of lightweight medical devices, tubing sets, laboratory accessories, pharmaceutical components and other products requiring visibility, sterilant access and controlled clean peeling.
