Sanitary Diaphragm Valve
A pneumatically operated 316L diaphragm valve that isolates the actuator from sterile and high-purity process media.
- Actuator isolated from process media
- Forged 316L hygienic body
- Drainable straight-through flow path
Product Introduction
The sanitary diaphragm valve controls high-purity media through a flexible diaphragm that seals against the body weir while separating the actuator from the wetted flow path. Its compact straight-through body, polished internal surface and configurable pneumatic actuator suit automated clean-utility and sterile-process piping.
Key Features
PTFE-faced or elastomer diaphragm options
Pneumatic normally closed, normally open or double-acting control
Compact straight-through weir body
Sanitary clamp or weld-end connections
Visual position indication
Drainable installation orientation
Serviceable bonnet and diaphragm assembly
Customer Product Concerns
Correct valve performance depends on diaphragm compatibility, actuator sizing, installation angle and a flow path that can drain and clean as intended.
Process media reaches actuator componentsUse the diaphragm as a continuous barrier between the wetted body and actuator mechanism.
Diaphragms fail prematurelyMatch diaphragm material and closing force to temperature, pressure, chemistry and sterilization cycles.
Water remains after system drainageInstall the valve at the body-specific drain angle with correctly oriented tube runs.
Valve status is unclear to automationAdd a compatible position indicator or control head with open and closed feedback.
