Product Introduction

This replacement cleanroom window gasket is supplied as one closed rectangular loop for maintenance of a compatible observation-window assembly. The compact black EPDM extrusion incorporates two parallel glass-receiving grooves, a central separating web and one rear keyed foot that locates in the existing retaining channel. Four molded-radius corners remove loose mitred ends, while a single vulcanized splice at the bottom run completes the perimeter. The spare part contains no glass or metal frame; its section, groove spacing and finished perimeter are matched to the service window before the original seal is removed.

Key Features

The pre-joined rectangular format gives maintenance teams one continuous perimeter component rather than four loose lengths that must be aligned at the corners.

Two fixed glazing grooves keep the paired glass edges separated by a defined central web while resilient EPDM cushions minor dimensional variation.

An integral keyed rear foot seats in the matching frame channel and helps resist local pull-out during glass retention and routine surface wiping.

One controlled vulcanized splice on the bottom run limits the number of joints and leaves all four radiused corners free from open mitres.

Customer Product Concerns

A replacement glazing loop must reproduce the original section and finished perimeter; an elastomer that looks similar can still have the wrong groove spacing, foot geometry or corner length.

A generic strip may fit one part of the channel but leave the paired glass edges loose or over-compressed elsewhere. The twin groove width, center-web spacing and keyed-foot dimensions are matched to the removed profile and the actual glazing stack.
Four hand-cut lengths can open at the corners and create visible discontinuities after the seal relaxes. The finished replacement is supplied as one closed loop with four formed corners and only one controlled vulcanized splice.
A perimeter cut too short must be stretched into place, increasing corner tension and encouraging the retention foot to pull from its channel. The loop is sized from the frame groove path and gasket section so it can seat without deliberate circumferential stretch.
Cleaning residue, glass chips or old adhesive left in the groove can twist the new section and prevent uniform seating. The exposed channel and glass edges are cleaned and inspected before the keyed foot and both glazing lips are pressed into their intended positions.
