Oil-Free Air Compressor
- Two-stage oil-free compression
- Water-cooled variable-speed package
- Enclosed controls and service access
Product Introduction
The Oil-Free Air Compressor is a packaged utility machine for clean manufacturing processes that cannot accept oil introduced by the compression stage. The selected catalogue identity uses two dry rotary screw stages in series: a larger low-pressure element raises the inlet air to an intermediate pressure, a water-cooled intercooler removes compression heat, and a smaller high-pressure element delivers the final pressure through an aftercooler and moisture separator. Each stage has its own variable-speed permanent-magnet motor, while an enclosed controller coordinates pressure, temperature, cooling-water and condensate functions. The compressor, drive, internal pipework, coolers and control equipment share one sound-attenuating cabinet. This page does not include a receiver, refrigerated dryer, desiccant dryer or downstream sterile filter, which are selected separately for the required storage capacity, pressure dew point and point-of-use air quality.
Key Features
Independent variable-speed drives match both compression stages to changing clean-air demand
Water-cooled intercooler and aftercooler control discharge temperature without a large external cooling-air duct
Integrated moisture separation and automatic drains remove bulk condensate after cooling
Full-color controller monitors pressure, stage temperatures, cooling conditions and maintenance status
Sound-attenuating powder-coated enclosure consolidates the compressor, motors, coolers and electrical controls
Grouped service points and removable front panels support planned inspection without dismantling the air network
Separate flanged air, cooling-water and condensate connections simplify connection to a central utility plant
Customer Product Concerns
Clean process-air generation must control oil risk, pressure stability, compression heat and moisture while remaining serviceable within a continuously operated utility plant.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
The selected image and catalogue configuration is a 90 kW-class, two-stage, water-cooled variable-speed oil-free rotary screw package without an integrated dryer. Its representative 2030 mm by 1660 mm plan and 2000 mm height follow a published enclosed-machine envelope. Actual free-air delivery, working pressure, cooling-water duty and electrical supply are selected for the operating profile rather than treated as universal ratings.
