Product Introduction

The high-containment weighing booth combines low-turbulence downflow with an inward pressure boundary, contained filter-change provisions and more closed product-transfer steps. Depending on the material and operation, glove panels, flexible barriers, split valves or continuous liners can be integrated around the weighing process. The balance remains isolated from the fan structure, and airflow sensing distinguishes work-zone performance from building pressure. No single exposure value is assigned to every configuration; the booth is engineered around the actual compound and task.

Key Features

A monitored inward boundary reduces migration from the active handling zone.

Contained filter housings isolate loaded stages during maintenance.

Flexible barriers or closed transfer ports reduce open powder manipulation.

An independent balance support protects measurement stability.

Process-specific interlocks can coordinate doors, extraction and transfer devices.

Customer Product Concerns

Potent powder weighing requires the enclosure, filter service and material-transfer method to work as one containment strategy.

Open scooping releases powder despite general booth airflow.Glove panels, flexible barriers or closed transfer interfaces reduce the open handling step.
Loaded filters become a separate exposure task.Bag-in/bag-out housings contain the filter-removal route.
Pressure changes disturb the sensitive balance.Low-velocity returns and an isolated balance slab separate capture from measurement support.
One standard layout cannot suit every potent compound. The transfer devices, airflow and maintenance method are selected for the actual process risk.
