Product Introduction

The emergency safety shower combines a corrosion-resistant vertical riser, hydrodynamic shower head and large pull rod with a stay-open valve. One downward pull establishes continuous flow so the user can remove contaminated clothing and remain under the spray. Ceiling, wall and free-standing configurations are available, with optional flow alarms and tempered-water equipment for facilities requiring monitored emergency service.

Key Features

A broad shower head distributes flushing water across the body.

The stay-open valve remains active without continuous force on the pull rod.

High-visibility controls and signage help users find the station quickly.

Service unions and replaceable valve components simplify inspection and maintenance.

Customer Product Concerns

Whole-body exposure requires immediate sustained flushing from an obvious station that remains operable while the user moves freely.

A small spray pattern leaves parts of the body outside the flushing envelope. The engineered shower head produces a broad distributed drench pattern.
An injured user cannot keep holding a control throughout flushing.A single pull opens a stay-open valve until it is intentionally reset.
Corrosive atmospheres degrade ordinary painted pipework.Optional 304 or 316L stainless pipe, valve and head components resist aggressive cleaning and moisture.
Facilities cannot tell when a remote shower is activated. An optional flow switch provides local beacon and building-alarm contacts.
