Product Introduction

This non-powered sampling assembly directs a controlled stream of compressed air or process gas through a removable perforated impactor head and onto a fitted culture plate. A compact stainless-steel base groups the inlet connection, analog pressure indication, variable-area flowmeter and single adjustment valve into a stable field unit. The detachable head and short outlet path can be dismantled for cleaning, while interchangeable plate retainers accommodate routine Petri-dish or contact-plate workflows. The kit is intended for representative point-of-use sampling before laboratory incubation and colony assessment; it is structurally distinct from oil, particle and moisture test instruments.

Key Features

Perforated stainless impactor head distributes the sample stream over a fitted agar surface for viable-particle collection.

One analog pressure gauge and one clear variable-area flowmeter provide separate, immediately visible checks of inlet condition and sample flow.

Single regulator knob supports controlled start-up and adjustment without adding a powered pump or electronic particle sensor.

Detachable sampling head, smooth stainless wetted path and sanitary connections simplify cleaning between sampling locations.

One compressed-gas quick inlet and one short outlet tube keep the sampling topology easy to inspect and assemble.

Stable feet and a fold-flat carrying handle support transport between utility points and steady placement during collection.

Customer Product Concerns

Compressed-gas microbial sampling must reduce pressure, establish a known flow, protect organism recovery and prevent cross-contamination while keeping the culture medium isolated from ambient exposure.

Uncontrolled decompression or excessive impaction velocity can reduce recovery of stressed microorganisms.Use the pressure indication and adjustable flow path to establish the selected sampling condition gradually before exposing the culture plate.
Residue from a previous point can create false-positive results at the next sampling location.Remove the impactor head and plate retainer between runs, clean or sterilize compatible stainless parts and keep prepared media closed until installation.
A leaking connection or unstable flow makes the sampled gas volume uncertain.Inspect the quick coupling and seals, keep the base level, verify the float position throughout the run and document elapsed time with the chosen flow.
Ambient air may enter while the plate is being loaded or removed.Use an aseptic loading sequence, minimize open-plate exposure and install or remove the plate only after the gas valve is closed and pressure is safely relieved.
