Compressed Air Quality Monitoring System
- Dew point, oil vapor and particle monitoring
- Single conditioned 6 mm sample inlet
- Touchscreen logging with plant-network outputs
Product Introduction
The Compressed Air Quality Monitoring System provides continuous indication of the three contaminant groups most commonly specified for clean compressed air: water vapor, oil vapor and particles. The selected purchasable configuration is one powder-coated steel wall cabinet with a 5-inch color HMI and one three-color status beacon, mounted above one fixed stainless-steel sample-conditioning panel on a shared wall frame. The panel feeds exactly one combined polymer/QCM dew-point channel, one PID oil-vapor channel and one laser particle-count channel from a single 6 mm inlet, then directs the measured sample to one controlled exhaust connection. Logged values, alarm states and plant integration are handled locally through Ethernet and RS-485 interfaces. It monitors a prepared sample; it does not dry, filter, compress or sterilize the utility air.
Key Features
A single regulated sample-conditioning path stabilizes the inlet before the flow divides inside the analyzer assembly
The 5-inch color HMI presents current values, trends and alarm states without requiring a separate workstation at the monitoring point
Integrated data logging supports trend review and investigation of short contamination excursions that periodic spot checks may miss
Modbus TCP over Ethernet and Modbus RTU over RS-485 provide two practical routes for connection to a supervisory or facility monitoring system
The powder-coated metal cabinet and dedicated wall frame keep the analytical modules, wiring and sample tubing together as one maintainable system
A front pressure gauge, one sample inlet and one exhaust connection make the sample route visually traceable during inspection and service
Individually replaceable sensing modules allow the measuring configuration and service plan to be matched to the required compressed-air duty
Customer Product Concerns
A continuous analyzer is only useful when its sampling point, flow conditioning, alarm limits and maintenance regime represent the air that reaches the process.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
The locked catalogue configuration is one complete wall-mounted monitoring assembly, not a loose sensor set. It contains exactly one light-gray powder-coated analysis cabinet, one black-bezel 5-inch HMI, one red/amber/green stack beacon, one stainless sample-conditioning panel, one nickel-plated pressure regulator, one round pressure gauge, one polymer/QCM dew-point flow cell, one PID oil-vapor module and one laser particle-counter module. The sample hardware has exactly one 6 mm nickel-plated compressed-air inlet and one PTFE exhaust connection. Electrical interfaces are exactly one RJ45 Ethernet port, one M12 RS-485 port and one mains cable gland, carried on two rear wall rails with four mounting ears. The selected conservative operating envelope is 0.3-1.5 MPa(g), pressure dew point -100 to +20°C Td, oil vapor 0.001-5.000 mg/m³ and particle channels beginning at 0.1 µm. A final measurement plan must define the sampling location, applicable particle channel option, alarm limits and service intervals.
