Product Introduction

The Cleanroom Pen is designed for routine records where an ordinary writing instrument could introduce particles, outgassing or excessive ionic residue. Its smooth high-density polypropylene barrel withstands routine wipe-down, while a capped ballpoint delivers permanent low-sodium ink on cleanroom paper and labels. An integrated clip secures the pen to a clipboard or garment loop and reduces rolling on benches.

Key Features

Smooth polymer barrel limits loose components and particulate generation

Low-sodium permanent ink supports controlled documentation

Capped ballpoint protects the nib between uses

Rectangular clip holds the pen and reduces bench rolling

Black, blue and red ink options support record segregation

Customer Product Concerns

Cleanroom writing tools must balance reliable ink flow with contamination control. Barrel polymer, ink chemistry, cap retention and packaging all affect whether the pen is suitable for a controlled documentation process.

Standard barrels and grips can shed particles or trap residue.Use a one-piece smooth HDPP barrel without a rubber grip.
Ordinary ink may smear on polymer-bound cleanroom paper.Specify permanent low-sodium ink matched to cleanroom paper and labels.
An uncapped nib can mark gloves, garments or work surfaces.Retain the fitted polymer cap whenever the pen is not in use.
A round pen may roll from a bench and contact the floor.Use an integrated flat clip that stabilizes the pen on horizontal surfaces.

Typical Applications

Used for cleanroom batch records, equipment logs, labels, notebooks, checklists, sampling sheets and production documentation in pharmaceutical, electronics, medical-device and laboratory environments.
