Product Introduction
The Acid and Alkali Gas Scrubber is a vertical packed absorption tower for centralized chemical exhaust. Contaminated air enters below the packing and rises against a downward flow of recirculated scrubbing liquid. Polypropylene packing increases gas-liquid contact, a spray header distributes the selected absorbent and a top mist eliminator retains entrained droplets before the cleaned stream reaches the outlet. The FRP shell, sump and external piping provide a practical corrosion-resistant construction basis. Despite the product name, one circulation loop is charged for either compatible acid-gas neutralization or alkaline-gas absorption; the actual contaminant mixture determines the liquid chemistry, materials, packing depth, blowdown and monitoring package.

The displayed basis is a vertical FRP packed tower approximately 1800 mm in diameter and 6000 mm overall height, with a 2000 mm nominal packing zone, integral recirculation sump, one external pump, top demister and small dosing package. The site's fixed ten-row schema uses panel-oriented labels; Panel Thickness therefore records the representative structural shell wall rather than cabinet depth, while Steel Facing Thickness is zero because the corrosion barrier is nonmetallic. Exhaust volume, packing, liquid chemistry, circulation rate, resin system, fan and instrumentation are selected for the actual duty.
