The humidifier steam cylinder is the removable evaporation vessel at the center of an electrode steam humidifier. Conductive feedwater carries current between the installed metal electrodes, heating the water directly and releasing atmospheric steam through the molded top outlet. The cylinder also groups the power terminals, high-water sensing connection, fill path and bottom drain-valve interface into one service component. Replacement selection must match the humidifier model, steam capacity, supply voltage and phase, electrode arrangement, steam-hose connection and drain seat because cylinders with a similar external size can have different internal and electrical configurations.
