The waterproof socket adds a spring- or latch-retained cover over a recessed power module. A separate gasket seals the cover against the faceplate, and another concealed seal closes the plate to the wall. Stainless hinges and a formed drip edge direct water away from the receptacle while a gland protects the incoming cable at the rear box.
