The single-duct VAV reheat terminal unit combines a round primary-air inlet, averaging flow sensor, modulating damper and rectangular discharge casing with an integral heating section. During cooling demand, the controller varies primary airflow between programmed minimum and maximum values. When the zone requires heat, airflow is held at the heating minimum while a hot-water valve or staged electric heater raises the discharge temperature. An acoustic liner and optional attenuator control regenerated noise, while coil access panels support inspection of the downstream heating section.
