Introducción del producto

This window uses high-density lead-barium glass to provide transparent shielding between a cleanroom or controlled laboratory and an X-ray source. The glass overlaps lead-lined frame returns so the shield does not stop at the visible edge, and the clean side is finished with sealed stainless-steel or powder-coated trim. Glass thickness and corresponding lead equivalence are selected from the operating tube voltage and the room shielding design; the product page does not assign a universal rating to every configuration.

Características clave

Lead-barium glass maintains direct observation while attenuating diagnostic and industrial X-ray energy.

Overlapping lead-lined reveals continue shielding around the perimeter rather than leaving an edge gap.

Ground and chamfered glass edges reduce handling damage during installation of the dense pane.

A flush sealed room face separates the specialist glass edge and shielding liner from routine cleaning.

Preocupaciones del producto del cliente

The transparent shield must match the surrounding barrier and preserve continuous overlap at the frame while supporting a significantly heavier pane than ordinary glass.

Radiation can bypass the glazing through an unshielded perimeter reveal.Lead-lined frame returns overlap the lead-glass edge and connect with the adjoining wall shielding.
High-density lead glass is heavy and vulnerable to edge damage during handling.A reinforced frame, full setting blocks and finished safety chamfers distribute the pane load.
Specifying lead equivalence without reference to tube voltage can misstate protection.Glass thickness and shielding value are selected from the required operating voltage and barrier schedule.
