The air-cooled condensing unit combines scroll compressors, a finned outdoor condenser, axial fans, refrigerant controls and electrical protection in one weather-resistant enclosure. It connects to a remote evaporator coil in an air-handling unit, keeping compressor noise and rejected heat outside the controlled area.
