The standard fan filter unit packages a backward-curved centrifugal blower, shallow pressure plenum, mini-pleat final filter and perforated diffuser in one ceiling-mounted housing. Air enters through the top prefilter, is distributed through the plenum and passes evenly across the full filter face before entering the clean zone. The drop-in perimeter is sized for common modular ceiling grids, while separate access to the fan and filter supports routine inspection without dismantling adjacent ceiling panels.
