The Compressed Air Pressure Regulator is a standalone air-line control device for branches that require repeatable downstream pressure without an integral filter bowl, dryer or lubricator. The selected P3Y 3/4-inch BSPP-class configuration uses a die-cast aluminum body, balanced brass/NBR poppet and NBR rolling diaphragm to respond to supply and demand changes. A black non-rising adjustment knob and metal lock ring secure the selected setpoint, while one front-mounted round pressure gauge reports outlet pressure and a steel angle bracket supports wall or machine mounting. The baseline version is self-relieving, allowing excess secondary pressure to vent through the regulator when the setpoint is reduced; non-relieving and reverse-flow/relieving arrangements remain application-selected alternatives. Upstream filtration and condensate removal are separate requirements because this product contains no filter element, bowl or drain.

Regulator performance depends on correct flow sizing, supply margin, relief selection, gauge range and clean upstream air rather than the nominal connection size alone.

A regulator sized only by pipe thread may show excessive downstream droop when several actuators demand air simultaneouslySelect from peak simultaneous flow at the minimum available inlet pressure and compare the manufacturer's flow curve at the required set pressure and allowable pressure drop.
