The air shower door closer uses a spring-loaded hydraulic body and articulated arm to return the door after each passage. Controlled sweep and latch stages reduce slamming while helping the door reach the closed position required by the interlock sensor. The aluminum body and arm suit frequent cycles in personnel and material entry systems. Correct replacement selection should consider door width and mass, opening direction, mounting geometry, closing force and adjustment access.
