The Self-Reclosing Explosion Venting Door is a reusable relief assembly for dust-handling and process enclosures. A gasketed stainless housing supports a hinged vent panel that opens rapidly under a defined pressure impulse. Integrated baffles and an air-cushion mechanism absorb the panel movement and guide it back toward the closed position after venting. The design suits equipment that cannot use a disposable rupture panel at every relief event.
