Introduction de produit

The heat recovery air handling unit brings outdoor supply and building exhaust through a common insulated casing while maintaining defined separation between air streams. Counterflow plate exchangers offer no moving transfer surface, rotary wheels provide high sensible and latent recovery where appropriate, and run-around coils completely separate the ducts. Bypass dampers, frost control and independent fans keep airflow stable through changing outdoor conditions. The recovery method is chosen according to contamination-transfer tolerance, humidity objectives and physical duct arrangement.

Key Features

Three recovery approaches allow energy transfer to match air-separation and moisture requirements.

Independent supply and exhaust fans maintain balanced airflow through different filter-loading conditions.

Bypass and frost-control sequences protect the exchanger during extreme ambient operation.

Accessible recovery cassettes and drain sections simplify inspection and cleaning.

Préoccupations du client produit

Energy recovery is valuable only when cross-stream leakage, frost, condensate and fan balance are controlled for the actual exhaust source.

Exhaust contaminants can cross into the clean supply air through the wrong recovery device.A plate or run-around system is selected where physical stream separation is the priority.
Ice blocks the exchanger during cold outdoor operation.Temperature-based bypass, preheat or controlled defrost limits frost accumulation.
Unequal supply and exhaust pressure drives leakage across a rotary wheel.Fan control and purge-section arrangement establish the intended pressure relationship.
Condensate remains under a plate exchanger and reaches adjacent panels.A full-width sloped drain pan collects water from the complete recovery section.
