Introducción del producto

Cleanroom flexible duct uses a continuous polymer or coated-fabric liner supported by a corrosion-resistant spring-wire helix. It is intended for short final connections between rigid duct branches and diffusers, fan terminals or movable equipment, not as a substitute for long straight mains. An optional glass-fiber blanket and outer vapor jacket limit heat gain and condensation on conditioned-air runs. Correctly extended installation minimizes internal corrugation, while stainless clamps and foil tape secure each end to a smooth metal collar.

Características clave

A spring-wire helix maintains the circular bore through controlled bends and minor alignment changes.

The continuous liner avoids longitudinal metal seams and accommodates equipment vibration.

Insulated versions combine a thermal blanket with a sealed external vapor jacket.

Short standard lengths discourage excessive sag and the pressure loss caused by compressed duct.

Preocupaciones del producto del cliente

Flexible duct only performs well when it is kept short, fully extended and supported without sharp kinks or compressed coils.

A rigid branch does not align precisely with the terminal collar. The flexible section absorbs the final offset without multiple hard elbows.
Compressed duct corrugations create unexpectedly high pressure loss. The liner is pulled taut and cut to the shortest practical connection length.
Unsupported duct sags above the ceiling and reduces its internal area.Wide straps at close intervals support the full diameter without pinching the jacket.
Cold-air connections sweat where the vapor jacket is punctured.Insulation and outer jacket are closed continuously around both collars with compatible tape.
