The Corrosion-Resistant Exhaust Fan is a single-width centrifugal blower for moving compatible corrosive process air through laboratory, cleanroom support and industrial pollution-control ductwork. The displayed direct-drive arrangement uses a teal vinyl-ester FRP scroll housing, matching backward-curved wheel, round flanged inlet, rectangular flanged discharge, external gray motor, flexible coupling and one dark coated-steel base. A smooth protective veil and gel-coated exterior limit fiber exposure and help the laminate withstand outdoor and chemical-service conditions. Fan size, resin system, wheel class, motor, rotation, discharge orientation, shaft seal and drain are selected from the actual gas chemistry, temperature, airflow and system resistance.

Fan reliability depends on more than choosing an FRP housing. Resin compatibility, condensate, solids, wheel speed, duct loads and the real operating point all affect service life and safe operation.

A resin that handles one acid may soften, crack or blister in another vapor mixture or at higher temperatureDefine every normal and upset constituent, concentration, moisture condition and temperature before selecting the resin and corrosion barrier.
Condensate can collect in the scroll, unbalance the wheel or attack fasteners and shaft sealsSlope connected ductwork appropriately and provide a compatible low-point drain and seal arrangement where condensation is credible.
Selecting a fan by free-air volume alone can miss the required airflow after duct, hood and treatment losses are addedCalculate the complete system resistance and select the fan at the required airflow, pressure, speed and density condition.
Rigid duct or misaligned foundations can transfer loads into the FRP inlet and dischargeUse independent duct supports, compatible flexible connectors and a level base so external loads do not distort the laminate housing.

The displayed product is a direct-drive size-22-class single-width FRP centrifugal blower with one teal scroll housing, one backward-curved FRP wheel, one 559 mm-class round inlet, one rectangular upblast discharge, one external gray TEFC motor, one guarded flexible coupling and one coated-steel base. The fixed table uses panel terms; Panel Thickness describes the representative molded housing laminate and Steel Facing Thickness records that the process casing has no steel skin. Published BCSW-FRP families span much wider airflow, pressure and size ranges; the final fan is selected at its actual duty point.
